Chapter Thirty-six
Why did Caitlin choose to draw a mockingbird (instead of an eagle) as what she wants to carve into the top of the chest? Please be sure to use details from the text to support your answer.
she decided to put a mocking bird on the chest because Devon was like Jem & Caitlin was like scout & Caitlins dad was like Atticus. they all are like the people from the movie so she put the mocking bird on the chest.
Caitlin decided to use a mocking bird because caracters from How To Kill A Mockingbird, resemble her family. Devon = Jem, Caitlin = Scout, and her dad = Atticus.
Caitlin wanted to put the mocking bird on the chest because the family in the movie "How to Kill a Mocking Bird" is simillar to Caitlins family ( Devon dad and her)
